QCPP Requirements 2011

QCPP currently determine compliance to ‘AS85000:2011 Quality Care Pharmacy Standard – a quality management system for pharmacies in Australia’ against the QCPP Requirements 2011. These can be accessed by clicking the button below.

Please note that the revised QCPP requirements, in accordance with the 2017 Quality Care Pharmacy Standard, are currently undergoing a revision process as a result of feedback from our pilot program in October 2017.  All pharmacies due for accreditation in 2018/19 financial year will be assessed under the current QCPP Requirements 2011 edition.

For more information on QCPP Reform 2020 and revised QCPP requirements, please visit the QCPP Reform 2020 page located on the QCPP website.

Access to AS85000

QCPP no longer sells paper based requirements manuals. Each QCPP accredited pharmacy or any pharmacy undergoing accreditation will be required to either:

  • own a current hard copy QCPP Requirements Manual or,
  • demonstrate access to an electronic version of both the requirements manual and Australian Standard 85000 Quality Care Pharmacy Standard

To meet QCPP Requirements, the pharmacy will need to have access to the electronic manual and the AS 85000:2011: Quality Care Pharmacy Standard(Australian Standard).
